At the February 1, 2019 New York Society of Addiction Medicine Conference, a team from Arnot Ogden Medical Center (AOMC) presented their Suboxone pilot program and received first place honors. The pilot program, which was in part funded by Care Compass Network, is designed to treat opioid withdrawal symptoms with Suboxone in the emergency department. The goals of the program are to increase engagement with those that are experience withdrawal symptoms who enter the Arnot emergency department and then quickly connect them to further treatment through a collaboration with CASA-Trinity of Chemung County.

Congratulations to Frank Edwards, MD, Robert Wicelinski, MD, and Nick Gallagher, MD for a job well done!
