Join us on Friday, October 22nd, from 12 to 1pm for a comprehensive look at the Crisis Counseling Program (CCP) offered in our community. The mission of the CCP is to assist individuals and communities in recovering from the psychological effects of natural and human-caused disasters, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, through the provision of community-based outreach and educational services.
Guest speaker, Jill Lloyd, champions for NY Project Hope at the Mental Health Association of the Southern Tier (MHAST), will provide an overview of the CCP model, share key cornerstones of Crisis Counseling including the identification of strengths and coping skills, as well as reveal ten ways to build our own resilience. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn about the wonderful community efforts that are taking place to provide education, emotional support, and links to resources during these times!
Note: Due to Project Hope guidelines, we will not be recording this session. We encourage you to attend in person, as your schedule allows.
