Description: Approximately one third of patients with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) also have a substance use disorder (SUD). Depending on the type of substance, a wide range of effects on MDD symptomology can occur, particularly depending on where in the cycle of recovery from the SUD. In this webinar, Dr. Robin Nelson, MD and Dr. Roueen Rafeyan, MD will discuss the challenges and opportunities for treating co-morbid SUD in MDD, including the impact of different substances on the symptomology of MDD.
