Developing a Capacity to serve Adolescents and Young Adults with Substance Use Disorders in a Community Based Setting–Long Island

When: Wednesday, August 14 – 10:00 AM

Location: Radisson Hotel Hauppauge-Long Island, 110 Vanderbilt Motor Parkway, Hauppauge, NY 11788, USA

Summary:

Do you currently serve youth and young adults under 21 years of age at risk of or with a Substance Use Disorder or do you have an interest in developing services to this population? If the answer to the question above is yes, then this is the workshop for you. This one-day Regional Forum will review and assist you in learning about the “New” Children and Family Treatment and Support Services (OASAS Part 823 – Children’s Services) and the developing endorsement for Adolescent Services to the Part 822 Community Based Services. This will be a practical, hands-on working session that will assist you in exploring the clinical opportunities for servicing this population and their families, while also giving you the tools to determine fiscal viability in an ever-changing environment. OASAS is pleased to be partnering with the Coordinated Care Center, Inc (CCSI) and Center on Addiction to provide this informative one day session.
